Active Luton is gearing up for another exciting season of Energise Luton Winter Holiday Camps, offering children across the town the chance to stay active, make friends and enjoy enriching experiences during the December break.
Energise Luton is part of Luton’s Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme, funded by the Department for Education. The initiative supports school-age children up to 16 who are eligible for income-related free school meals, providing a safe, engaging environment during the school holidays.
Camp Dates and Locations
The winter camps will run from Saturday 20 December to Tuesday 23 December, with bookings now open. Families are encouraged to book early, as places are expected to fill quickly.
Activities will take place across multiple Active Luton venues, including:
· Inspire: Luton Sports Village
· Lea Manor Recreation Centre
· Lewsey Sports Park & Pool
· High Town Gym & Wellbeing Centre
· Luton Central Library
What’s on Offer?
Attendees can look forward to a wide range of fun and enriching activities, such as:
· Nutritious meals enjoyed in a welcoming social setting
· At least one hour of physical activity each day
· Arts and crafts
· A trip to the pantomime
· Swimming sessions
· Roller skating
· Sports hall games
· And much more!
The programme aims to help children stay active, build confidence and try new experiences over the winter holiday.
