Changing Facilities Update

The Family Village Changing area will reopen on Monday 19 January following refurbishment. As part of Phase 2 works, the adult male and female changing areas will close from 19 January until April 2026 to allow for the installation of brand-new showers and full ceiling and flooring upgrades.

What this means for customers:

• Please arrive pool ready (swimwear under clothing).
• Report to Reception on arrival for access to temporary changing facilities.
• Temporary male and female changing areas are located at the back of the centre (via the disability area).
• No showers or lockers will be available in the temporary changing areas.
• Gym users are advised to arrive gym ready; A4-sized bags may be taken into the gym.
• During public swim sessions, communal showers will be available in the Family Changing Village.
• For public swimming, please bring belongings onto poolside.

Lea Manor Recreation Centre is a thriving, vibrant community sports centre home to a fantastic modern gym with dedicated weights area and family friendly swimming pool.

The centre offers an extensive group fitness timetable with over 50 classes to choose from each week or over 90 classes as part of the centres dual membership offer with Lewsey Sports Park & Pool.
