Stockwood Park Golf Centre’s Practice Facility Closed for Major Upgrades

We’re thrilled to share that big improvements are underway at Stockwood Park Golf Centre!

To make way for the installation of a brand-new driving range, our practice facility is now temporarily closed from Monday 20th October to Sunday 16th November 2025.

We know this may cause a short-term disruption to your routine, and we appreciate your patience as we work to bring you a safer, stronger, and more complete driving range experience.

What’s Changing?

Here’s what you can look forward to when the upgraded driving range reopens:

· A brand new 15-metre-high netted fence (That’s 9 metres taller than the current one!)

· The return of woods and drivers - Yes – they’re coming back! Get ready to bring out the big clubs again.

· Extended bays - Enjoy more space, comfort, and an all-round better practice experience.

These enhancements are part of a wider improvement plan, with even more exciting updates planned for the new year.

Why We’re Making These Changes

This project is all about investing in the future of golf in Luton, making it more accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for players of all levels – from complete beginners to experienced golfers.

The new driving range will offer a better and more modern space to learn, practice, and play.
