Active Luton is excited to announce a significant upgrade to its strength training facilities at Inspire: Luton Sports Village, investing £100,000 into new state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment.
While the enhancements are expected to bring advanced workout options to members, they will also require temporary closures to allow for installation.
Temporary Closures and Disruptions:
· Monday 25 November: Octagon frame, black matted area and some resistance equipment will be out of use.
· Tuesday 26 November: Gym closed from 9am.
· Wednesday 27 November: Gym closed all day.
· Thursday 28 November: Gym OPEN, with minor disruptions
Please note, whilst we finalise the installation of our new equipment, we are expecting some minor disruptions until the close of play on Friday 29th November 2024.
During closed times we invite customers to access our gyms at Lewsey Sports Park and Lea Manor Recreation Centre .
New Equipment Highlights:
· Hammer Strength Equipment: Industry-leading strength training weights.
· Resistance Tracking Sensors: Place these new puck sensors on top of weight stacks for real-time feedback on technique.
· Specialised Equipment: Pin Select Glute Bridge, Plate Loaded Glute Drive, Multi-Jungle workout system and Axiom Biceps/Triceps Machine.
· Expanded Workout Space: A10-meter sprint track and extended stretch area for functional training.
· Coming Soon (January 2025):A new perimeter rig for varied training options.
In addition, all new equipment will integrate with the Life Fitness Connect app, allowing members to track their workouts and monitor progress directly through their devices. Ask our gym team for more information.
