Building Services Officer – Fixed Term 6 Months

Full Time | £34,660 per annum, pro rata

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Building Services Officer to help maintain and operate Active Luton’s buildings. This varied role supports safe, compliant and fully operational sites for staff, customers and the wider community. Working with the Building Services Manager, you’ll coordinate day-to-day maintenance, oversee contractors and support planned works across multiple locations. You’ll carry out inspections, ensure work meets standards, support maintenance programmes, advise on health and safety, and help monitor performance and compliance. We’re seeking someone with experience in building services or maintenance, strong knowledge of health and safety, excellent communication skills, a recognised trade qualification (e.g. City & Guilds), and the ability to travel between sites and carry out practical inspections.
