‍Swim Assistant

3 hours per week – Saturday 09.30am -12.30pm | £15.38 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Swim Teacher to support the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons for children and adults, helping swimmers develop confidence, skills and water safety awareness. This is a great opportunity for anyone starting a swim teaching career, with the chance to progress to a Level 2 Swim Teacher role. Duties include assisting with lesson delivery and preparation, supporting swimmers of all abilities, setting up equipment, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and carrying out basic administrative tasks. Applicants should have experience in a leisure environment, good communication skills, an understanding of pool health and safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Sports Maintenance Assistant (Part Time)

We’re looking for a practical, proactive and hands-on individual to help us maintain and prepare our synthetic sports pitch and equipment at one of our busy leisure centres. This role is vital to the safe and effective running of the centre’s sports programmes and bookings. You’ll work closely with the Activity Leader and Duty Manager to ensure the pitch is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use – helping provide a high-quality environment for our customers.

‍Building Services Officer

Head Office

£34,660 per annum, pro rata | Full time – 37 Hours per week

We are seeking a proactive Building Maintenance Officer to support the maintenance and operation of Active Luton’s buildings, ensuring they remain safe, compliant and fully operational. Working with the Building Services Manager, you will coordinate maintenance activities, carry out inspections, manage contractors and support planned improvement programmes across multiple sites. The successful candidate will have experience in a building services, estates or maintenance environment, a good understanding of health and safety and building maintenance practices, strong communication skills, a recognised building trade qualification, and the ability to travel between sites and undertake inspections where required.
