At Active Luton we boast a great value junior offer for those aged between 11 – 17 years. From group exercise classes such as Zumba and Les Mills BODYPUMP, to specific general gym or lane swimming sessions, there’s over 100 activities to choose from to get you off on the right start with your training. Our gyms are always staffed too, creating a safe fitness journey starting point and opportunity for any questions, advise and support you may need as you get settled in.

Unaccompanied under 16s must attend the gym at set Junior Gym times shown above. At all other times they must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old on a ratio of one-to-one. Over 16s can attend the gym at any time. If Junior Gym users are with an adult they can attend at any time, but must follow a 1:1 ratio and remain together when training.
We offer a brilliant junior group exercise timetable, with over 100 group fitness classes available each week.

Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
We welcome swimmers to swim alone from the age of 8, providing they can complete a competency test on arrival to include swimming 25 metres, treading water for 45 seconds and completing a forward roll.
As well as general lane swimming there are plenty of aquatic classes to get involved with too!
If you are interested in a Junior Membership, please visit your chosen centre of choice. A parent or guardian will be required to accompany the junior, and is required to bring proof of age with them.

The practice of yoga combines physical posture, controlled breathing techniques and mindfulness techniques, all of which work together to promote relaxation and to reduce stress and to improve emotional wellbeing.
