Exercise is a great way to improve your health, as it helps to limit pain and maintain mobility. It also boosts energy, keeps muscles strong to support joints, and can prevent disability.

ESCAPE Pain is to Enable Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain through Exercise.

Our FREE group-based rehabilitation programme run by a physiotherapist or exercise professional. These exercise sessions are tailored to benefit each person in order to:


  • Reduce pain
  • Improve physical function
  • Improve mental wellbeing, self-confidence & self esteem
  • Increase your independent mobility

This is a 6 week programme (1 hour sessions twice a week) that requires full attendance. There is a 6 and 12 month follow up after completion of the course.
