While the National Curriculum demands agreed aims and outcomes, the road to achieving them can inevitably be wide and varied.

The Active Education Team has a wealth of knowledge and experience and a broad range of creative talents that they are able offer schools and individual members of staff.

In creating a bespoke course there is the flexibility to tailor-make training to suit the individual needs of schools. These can be delivered at your school at a time to suit the staff, for example on a training day, during a staff meeting or as a series of twilight sessions.

Course description This course will examine children’s development and how this affects writing and the ability to sit and concentrate. It will also consider how a simple exercise programme can develop the control and co-ordination needed for handwriting. The course will examine Write Dance, a movement-based method of training children’s fine and gross coordination which enables children to have comfortable, readable, quick and distinctive handwriting. This course includes a practical experience.
