Fitness Activities for Older People

Sport and physical activity is not just for the young. Ask anyone who attends any of our Full of Life Activities! They are all fun, sociable and definitely designed to get the body on the move, regardless of age, sex or ability.

Group exercise can have many additional benefits - exercising together can be uplifting and motivational, giving you new energy to do more and increasing your fitness levels to stay healthy and happy. We have a range of activities in and around Luton so please click on the tabs to the right to find out more. 

 

Details of our Full of Life Club activities at Inspire: Luton Sports Village, Lea Manor Recreation Centre, Hightown Community Sports and Arts Centre and Lewsey Sports Park are featured below, or you may prefer our Walking Football or Nordic Walking sessions, or you could join our free programme of health walks.  Swimming is also a fantastic low-impact exercise and we run a number of classes too, click here for the swiming timetable at all of our 4 pools around Luton, please select the relevant centre to avoid confusion.

How to Join

Just drop in to the centres any time and ask about the Full of Life Club or simply arrive 15 minutes early to book in. For general enquiries:
